PRIVACY POLICY

THE SHORT VERSION
- This website has no cookies, analytics, ads or trackers, and loads nothing from other sites.
- Solo worlds and settings are stored on your computer. Multiplayer progress is also stored by the world host.
- Direct co-op connections expose your connection address to the host. Steam sessions use Steam services and platform identity.
This website
The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts; fonts and images are served from this site.
The hosting provider processes standard request information (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. It isn't used to identify or track visitors.
The game
Scriptlands saves worlds, scripts, settings and key bindings on your computer. A multiplayer host stores the shared world and player progress, and the game uses saved player identities to reconnect players to that progress. Steam integration uses your existing Steam identity when available.
Scripts you write run inside the game only. They can't read files, use the network or reach anything outside the game.
The website’s achievement guide is informational: it does not read game saves or sync personal progress. Wiki searches run in your browser without sending search terms to a server.
Multiplayer
Direct multiplayer connects to the host or dedicated server and reveals your connection address. Steam relay sessions also involve Steam’s services and identity system. Hosts receive player names, gameplay actions and chat, and keep world and player progress in their saves. Only join worlds hosted by people you trust.
Children
The game is designed for players 12 and up. Multiplayer shares the information described above regardless of age; choose hosts and shared player names with care.
